I have joined the research group led by Dr Andrea Da Ronch, in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment of the University of Southampton, in June 2015. As a PhD student, I work on developing numerical tools and methods for shape optimisation of aircraft configurations including aeroelastic constraints. The potential industrial applications not only include next generation flexible aerial vehicles, but also cover other areas such as wind turbines.
I acknowledge the financial supports received from the University of Southampton through an Eustice Scholarship and from the CSC Scholarship award.
