“Energy Harvesting by Means of Flow-induced Vibrations on Aerospace Vehicles” has been published in Progress in Aerospace Sciences. The work was financially supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering (NCRP/1415/51) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (11402014 and 11572023).
“Computational Fluid Dynamics-based Transonic Flutter Suppression with Control Delay” has been published in the Journal of Fluids and Structures. The journal represents a successful example of collaboration with Prof Chen Gang of the State Key Laboratory for Strength and Vibration of Mechanical Structures, Xi’an Jiaotong University.
The first Beihang University Summer School in Southampton 2016 was a success! For two weeks, students undertook intensive technical courses in topics ranging from aerodynamics to structures, and enjoyed interesting and varied social events with the Lecturers.
